A lil somethin’ about me:
I am a first generation Mexican-American, born and bred in Los Angeles County, Ca. Following high school, I served in the U.S Air Force as a medical logistician and lived overseas in the U.K and Turkey. My passion for learning led to me to a career change and obtaining a double B.S in Nutrition Science and Molecular & Cellular Biology from UNLV & LSUS respectively. My quest for scientific inquiry did not end there and I decided pursuing a PhD in Cell Biology & Anatomy would be the best choice for me. In 2023, I graduated with my PhD with a research focus in mild traumatic brain injury and moved back to California.
Although I love science, I love people & community more. I want to make a a positive impact by providing value back to our community in the form of free community run events, collaborations, and offering exclusive discounts to local races to help promote physical activity in our community.
After years of hesitation, we are finally launching our small mobile coffee cart business where we will offer catering, pop-ups, and farmers markets. We will also be selling our merchandise on our website. A portion of our profits will go back to our community events so we can continue to add value to our members at no cost.
I value everyone’s support - this is truly a village effort and we are only getting started!
I was born and raised in socal and left to join the Air Force. I lived overseas and all over states, just to find out that there is no place like the Bay and decided that’s where I want to be. My life’s goal is to have a positive impact and build a thriving community. I hope you will join.
Movement and running has been part of my life since I was a little kid. My dream is to inspire others to start or continue their running journey to live a happier and healthier life.
