A lil somethin’ about me:
I am a first generation Mexican-American, born and bred in Los Angeles County, Ca. Following high school, I served in the U.S Air Force as a medical logistician and lived overseas in the U.K and Turkey. My passion for learning led to me to a career change and obtaining a double B.S in Nutrition Science and Molecular & Cellular Biology from UNLV & LSUS respectively. My quest for scientific inquiry did not end there and I decided pursuing a PhD in Cell Biology & Anatomy would be the best choice for me. In 2023, I graduated with my PhD with a research focus in mild traumatic brain injury and moved back to California.
Although I love science, I love people & community more. I want to make a positive impact by providing value back to our community in the form of free community run events, collaborations, and offering exclusive discounts to local races to help promote physical activity in our community.
After years of hesitation, we are finally launching our small mobile coffee cart business where we will offer catering, pop-ups, and farmers markets. We will also be selling our merchandise on our website. A portion of our profits will go back to our community events so we can continue to add value to our members at no cost.
I value everyone’s support - this is truly a village effort and we are only getting started!
Movement and running has been part of my life since I was very young. My dream is to inspire others to start or continue their running journey to not only achieve their lofty goals but to live an overall happier and healthier life.
I have years of experience in running distances from an all out miler to 100 mile race with over 18,000 ft of elevation. I have time qualified for Boston, New York, and the Berlin marathon (photo to the left is Berlin Marathon 2025).
I would love to use my experience to help others achieve their dreams no matter the goal.
I was born and raised in Southern California and left to join the U.S Air Force. Throughout my service, I have lived overseas and in numerous states, just to find out that there is no place like the Bay.
As I get closer to rounding out my 20 years of military service, we have decided to make the bay our last stop and will be retiring here. My life’s goal is to make a positive impact and build a thriving community. I hope you will join.
